Today marks the first day of school for many children in Southwest Louisiana and we all want them to have the best start possible. This is why the participants of CARC’s Lifestyles Program were delighted to hold a school supply drive and decorate boxes for United Way’s Shoebox Drive. They worked for weeks to decorate shoe and boot boxes to fill with the supplies they collected.
Here at CARC nothing makes us happier than working together to positively affect the lives of others. We know the importance of giving back, and recognize individuals putting forth a collective effort to help the community create a significant impact. CARC would like to say thank you to the participants for doing such an amazing job! We would also like to thank CARC staff and members of the community for donating school supplies to support this important cause.
