Carol visited Lake Charles Mayor Randy Roach.
CARC’s very own Carol Maricle traveled to Los Angeles, California last month to compete in the 2015 Special Olympics World Games. Along with over 6,000 other athletes representing 165 countries, Carol enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the largest sports and humanitarian event anywhere in the world in 2015.
Carol excelled in the game of Bocce, earning a Gold Medal in Team, a Silver Medal in Doubles, a Bronze Medal for Unified Doubles, and a 4th place ribbon for Singles. Everyone at CARC would like to congratulate Carol on her success at the Special Olympics World Games.
